A "Virtual Server" means your website is on a computer with other company's websites. No one can tell by looking, and this is a perfect, low-cost approach for web sites with little traffic or applications which don't require a lot of server power.
We provide daily backups of your entire site, and our system administrators maintain all aspects of the hardware, operating system, and general server needs. Starting at $500/year (about $40/month) this is our most popular service.

When you locate your server in our facility with other computers it's called "collocation." Your own server is definitely the most secure, most reliable option. Our hardware specialists can work with you to configure a server which will grow with your needs, or you can provide your own equipment. We will work with you to find the best solution for your needs.
Our Collocation pricing depends on some basic factors:
- Basic Collocation: $250/month
- Dedicated System Administration: add $250/month
- Additional Bandwidth: varies depending on peak times

As our client's projects have become more successful, the amount of information they transfer to and from their servers has increased. To guarantee the speed they need, Conquent will install dedicated Internet connections -- as a dedicated server keeps your site isolated from other users applications, a dedicated circuit keeps your bandwidth wide open so no other application can interfere with your ability to deliver information to your customers.

It is often important for our clients to keep their web hosting at their own location or a third party hosting facility. Conquent provides remote system administration, such as installing security patches and general system management, for a flat fee. On-site work or additional services can be provided at our standard rate of $100/hour or our project rate of $75/hour.
