Giving your customers pertinent information should be easy. Quite often the information you need to provide is already in a system in your organization, but it just needs to be presented in a different form to be useful to your customers.
Poly Concepts had a complete manufacturing process management system, a great internal employee file system, and no way to share the information with their big customers (the very big customers who were demanding more information and faster reporting on their job status).
Conquent added a web server outside the network with a secure connection to the existing systems. Poly Concepts employees continued to use their Windows server and manufacturing system, while customers were given access to manufacturing status, past invoices and account status, as well as a new way to provide project feedback.
Our designers and programmers worked closely together to provide a stunning interface, and our infrastructure team implemented a low-cost proxy server and the network enhancements needed to display all the information live.
Bottom line: With no interruptions in their existing systems, Poly Concepts satisfied their customers needs while positioning themselves as a leader in their market.
