The Peddlers Pack Stampworks started as a local retail store, but has grown into an international manufacturer and wholesaler of artistic rubber stamp products. They have over 4,000 original images in their production database from which they make their stamps.
The challenge was twofold: first, they maintain an internal Microsoft Access database of all their product ID numbers with references to the image library that sits on their hard drive. All the images are stored in a high-resolution format which need to be converted over to a low-res, web format.
The team used our data synchronization tools to map the Access database to the web storefront, and then added an "on the fly" conversion tool which looked at where the hi-res image file was, copied it, converted it, and inserted it into the database as both a small thumbnail image and as a full size detailed view. This means the online store is updated automatically when the Peddler's Pack adds or edits a stamp in their manufacturing system.
Bottom line: Conquent, through the development of our tools, has made sure Peddler's Pack has all of their stamp images online automatically. As a result, their online sales have jumped dramatically.
