The Estate Profiler is rapidly becoming the program of choice among financial planners to help people plan not only what happens to their estates after they die, but also how to make the most of their retirement. As a small organization, the Center for Estate Planning needed a way to allow its customers to easily purchase additional licenses of the software while protecting their software from piracy.
The Conquent team extended our basic commerce functions to create a complete loop -- the customer requests additional licenses directly from the Estate Profiler software, the software connects to the Internet and provides encrypted security information to log the customer in, the web interface takes the credit card payment and delivers the upgraded license back to the Estate Profiler software.
The process is seamless to the customer, and the Center for Estate Planning staff is kept in the loop through email notifications and detailed online reporting.
Bottom line: Conquent provided ways for The Center for Estate Planning customers to get the licenses they need, any time, any day, no matter how busy the Center staff becomes.
