As with everything in the tech world, email is constantly evolving. Although nearly all major email programs support some sort of HTML email, Yahoo! won’t support images the same way Outlook does, handhelds will not have all the fonts of PCs, and there are still plenty of email programs that don't support HTML at all. But email messages still need to get out; the trick is creating email that accounts for the differences between programs.
Creating an HTML email that works with all these issues takes the skills of all our staff -- from the graphic designer making a design that supports the look of your company, to the programmer encoding your message to work with all the rules, to the hardware techs testing and reviewing the results on a wide range of platforms, to the system administrator managing the servers and email message queues to make certain the message gets to your recipients.
