Allergan, the makers of Botox, came to Conquent with a complex database problem; they needed a way to track policies regarding the drug, acceptable diagnoses (using ICD9 codes) for which the drug will be beneficial, and the correlating procedure (CPT) code for how the drug is administered.
The resulting program needed to be able to cover every insurance, pharmacy benefits management company and other management companies as well as every condition Botox can be used for. (It's not just cosmetic, by the way, Botox is used for treatment in a wide range of muscular and glandular issues.)
Conquent provided the pieces to the puzzle: light graphics on an intuitive interface with some really complex programming to make it easy for Allergan management to use the system from any web browser.
