Creating a new brand ID was only part of the battle. The pre-existing American Dream Planner website had a lot of existing content which needed to be put into the new look and feel. With a bit of effort, the graphic designers were able to provide icons, colors, fonts and all the other necessary elements to allow the Web team to shift the content over smoothly.
Then, the web team had to creating a seamless link between a desktop application and a web delivery system -- with different flavors of Microsoft Windows to support, a variety of ways people connect (or don't connect) to the Internet, a fairly non-technical customer base, and the utmost need for security, the team had to make the Internet Application work as easily and universally as possible.
With a combination of a light touch to the Windows application and a series of electronic handshakes and countersigns, updates and upgrades are delivered cleanly with just the customer's push of a button.
